new year, new look, new(ish) hair
This new year I’m focusing a lot more on self-care. One way to go about this is washing away all of last weeks woes and rejuvenating yourself for the upcoming week.
I’m one of those that have different types of showers. I have my ‘wash hair, face, and body’ shower, ‘wash hair, exfoliate, and moisturize’ shower, and then the shower where I go all out – wash hair, exfoliate, cleanse, shave, moisturize, etc.
Complimentary of Influenster, I have been able to start the new year early by reviving my shower routine with the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Rapid Reviver Deep Conditioner. With all of the dyes, bleach, and heat that I put in my hair, I need to take better care of it (I have been coloring my hair since fifth grade!!) Lately, I have been all about blonde! 🌟

The following steps are part of my self-care shower routine –
First, I shampoo with Shimmer Lights by Clairol Pro. This shampoo helps to tone down the brassiness in my blonde hair. Next, I condition with L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Rapid Reviver Deep Conditioner. Even though the Rapid Reviver only needs one minute to sit, I let it sit for a little longer while I exfoliate my face with the St. Ives Acne Control Apricot Scrub. After I exfoliate I cleanse with the Olay Micropolishing Cleaning Infusion Facial Cleanser Ginger. After hair and face, I move to the body (by this point I have rinsed the conditioner out of my hair.) For my body, I exfoliate with BajaZen MUD Body Buff Scrub. It’s UH-MAZING! Then I wash with the Suave Sweet Pea and Violet Body Wash. I have been using this wash for years and it’s one of my absolute favorites! 💜
Usually, I let my hair dry naturally but this time I blow dried and whoahhh it feels amazing. For real – the Elvive Total Repair has made it feel like I came straight from the salon.
